Birds love to preen, and usually spend about a quarter of their day doing it. But some birds love it TOO much -- so they over-preen, plucking at their feathers until they permanently damage the hair follicle. Adding a soft perch like this one to your bird will prevent your bird from over-preening. It's made of thick colorful cotton ropes that are twisted together, with the ends left loose for your bird to pluck at. Plus, it's easy to attach to the sides or roof of your cage, and machine washable. Small is suitable for birds like Budgies and Canaries. Medium suitable for the medium parrots. Large-sutiable for Amazons Greys and Macaws.
